The Leading Part-time Drama School

Identity School of Acting (IDSA) is a multicultural and vibrant acting school, which provides ongoing training of the highest quality whilst also preparing actors from all backgrounds for the reality of becoming a working actor. We welcome students of all levels, from beginners to professional actors.

We are proud to announce the opening of the Los Angeles Branch this Summer. This branch is affiliated with Identity Agency Group – Management Division.

Identity School of Acting enables students to:

      • Discover and use a variety of dramatic forms and techniques.
      • Develop their confidence and ability to express their ideas clearly.
      • Build a vocabulary of theatre and drama.
      • Create and develop convincing roles in specific situations.
      • Explore a variety of human emotions through drama.
      • Understand the cultural and social purpose of drama; appreciate the values of their own communities as well as others.
      • Recognize social conventions and stereotypes and be prepared to examine them through cross-curricular themes.
      • Put their acquired skills into practice by participating in showcases and film-cases.
      • Showcase their talents in-house and/or publicly in order to be signed by IAG or another agency.

Performances are recognized as being integral to an actor’s development, and students engage either a Filmcase or a Showcase once a year.
